1. Me and my buddies play a pretty high stakes poker game with a $10 minimum bet. Anyway, I started betting with my scruples just for kicks and once they were in the pot I decided I didn't want to lose them. I have been playing the best poker of my life since I started gambling with my scruples. It is a lot easier to say to people that I lost a $1000 playing cards last night then it is to say I lost my scruples.

2. I'm in direct sales and I have to make a lot of cold calls. As part of my closing. I say, "I know you don't know me very well but I want you to know that I do have scruples and I can prove it to you." I wait for them to accept the challenge and then I pull one of the coins out of my pocket. That keeps the conversation going another 5 to 10 minutes and one of either two things happens. Either I close the deal or I end up selling them my scruples for $10. Since I buy them by the dozen, I make a nice little side profit for myself.

3. Lately, I've become addicted to TV evangelists. Especially the ones who do faith healing. However, instead of sending them money, I started sending in scruples. Believe it or not, most of them return them to me asking for cash instead. I've stopped watching the shows that don't want to have scruples.
